Sharing the Raw Side of Non-Monogamy : A Community’s Reflections on a Complex Journey

Over the last month, I have really wanted to provide another update on what’s happened between me and my husband because I know that I left you all kind of hanging at the end of my last blog post…. I think many of you have been wondering: “Will their non-monogamous marriage survive or not?”

Before I get to that answer, I want to acknowledge the many responses my last post received. A few touched me, gave me pause, made me cry, or stretched my comfort zone. And I want to share some of these with you now.

Readers who kind of told me “I told you so” or “This was bound to happen”:

Why is this a worthwhile lifestyle? It seems that every single story I read on this topic has a dark detour or ends in this horrific fashion.

I know that I have painted a very dark picture of what non-monogamy has done to my relationship recently. To be perfectly honest, I have asked myself if I still believe in non-monogamy. I am still not sure of how to answer that question.
