When I first started dating as a newly non-monogamous married woman I was very curious to see what kind of men would be interested in going out with me. I was not sure who would be interested in what I had to offer. I wondered whether a single guy would be OK with dating someone who goes home to her husband at the end of the evening. Or would I only attract attention from other married guys in a similar situation as mine?
I was also curious about what type of guy I would be most interested in. What exactly was I looking for and from whom? What arrangement would work out best to realize my desires around non-monogamous connections?
As it turns out, I have found that there is no single type of man who is interested in me. And no single type of guy that I am interested in. In fact, it’s been all over the map. I have dated guys that are married (or in stable long-term relationships) and monogamous, guys that are married and non-monogamous, guys that are single and also non-monogamous and guys that are single and okay with me being non-monogamous.
